Exercise Specialist and Bodywork
Member Price: $150.00
Our Exercise Specialist (CES) LMT works with you to do combine bodywork, exercise, and education to give you lasting results. Includes take-home exercises for rehabilitation, training, and performance, as needed. If booking as a non-member, may not have visited the practice within six months prior to service.
At Precision Clinical Bodywork in Mechanicsville, serving the Richmond area, this service is for people who know relief alone is not enough. When the same issue keeps coming back unless you change the movement pattern, strength deficit, or daily habit behind it, combining bodywork with corrective exercise usually makes more sense than treatment in isolation.
Who is this service best for?
- Clients whose pain or tightness keeps returning after treatment-only sessions
- Active adults who want both hands-on care and a clear take-home plan
- People returning to training who need more structure than massage alone provides
- Clients who want better carryover between sessions instead of short-lived relief
What happens in a session?
The session blends targeted bodywork, movement assessment, exercise selection, and practical education. The goal is to connect what the therapist feels on the table with what your body is doing when you walk, train, lift, sit, or recover. That combination helps turn a treatment visit into a more usable long-term plan.
Why choose this over massage alone?
Some issues improve quickly with hands-on work and then return because the body still loads or moves the same way afterward. This service is built for that gap. It helps clients understand what to keep doing, what to stop repeating, and what to strengthen or relearn between visits.
Who should you book with?
Christina Devers, LMT is the clearest fit from the current team bios because corrective exercise is listed as a specialty. Raven Phillips, LMT is also relevant for clients who want training-informed support. You can compare both on the team page.
How does it compare to related services?
If you mainly need hands-on recovery around training load, start with Sports Massage. If you want pure programming and coaching without bodywork, go with Personal Training. If the issue is very tissue-specific and movement-based, ART may be the better first step.
